Founder & CEO

Tatev is the leading attorney specializing in licensing and regulatory compliance for premium brands. She is passionate about creating an environment where cannabis consumers and those interested in cannabis have equal access to science-backed products and education regarding the medicinal benefits of cannabis, CBD and hemp products.

Tatev has a strong track record in the cannabis industry of prior permitting and licensing successes on the State and local level, working with regulators and city officials throughout multiple jurisdictions, managing build-outs, creating and executing operating procedures for manufacturing, distribution and cultivation facilities, retaining the best experts for safety and security plans, establishing compliant banking, accounting, insurance and legal practices, hiring teams to help companies scale 5-10x, and assisting with the day-to-day management of cannabis companies.

She is committed to ensuring that cannabis operators provide the very best products available through compliance with the highest legal and ethical standards and encourages transparency to bridge the gap between consumers and operators.

Tatev serves as California licensing and regulatory counsel to leading, vertically integrated private and public cannabis companies.

She earned her B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of California, Los Angeles and her law degree and Master's in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University School of Law.

Tatev is the co-founder of the Newport Coast CBD Invitational, a golf tournament at Pelican Hill benefiting the Infinite Hero Foundation, an organization committed to helping our veterans using innovative technologies.

Cole practices real estate and corporate transactional law, including negotiating and drafting agreements, conducting due diligence, and advising on legal and compliance issues. He represents a wide range of companies, from start-up businesses in need of formation and negotiation of initial transactions, to mature companies that require complex reorganizations.

Cole has assisted numerous clients in the cannabis industry of all license types, including vertically integrated companies, with their commercial real estate and corporate needs. His experience includes property acquisition, leasing, joint venture agreements, corporate reorganization, structuring investments, and many other transactional matters.

He has assisted in negotiating some of the largest cannabis-related leases and property acquisitions in California, including all leases filling a multi-building industrial project of over 200,000 square feet in Desert Hot Springs, lease of an industrial building of over 100,000 square feet in Long Beach, and purchase and sale of an 85,000 square foot distribution and manufacturing facility in West Sacramento.

Cole successfully closed the sale of a cannabis retail license and related leasehold interest located in Santa Ana, California, on behalf of the selling parties. The purchaser is a leading vertically integrated publicly traded cannabis company.

Cole has been selected to the Southern California Super Lawyers Rising Stars list since 2020. In addition to his professional achievements, Cole is involved with StandUp for Kids, a nationally recognized non-profit charity that finds homes for homeless youth across the country and educates them on entrepreneurship and business formation. Cole serves as a mentor and regularly lends his legal perspective at StandUp for Kids events throughout the year.

Ani Oganyan, MBA

The Oganyan Children’s Foundation, Founder

Ani is the founder of the Oganyan Children’s Foundation, a company committed to providing every child equal opportunity and access to a quality education, to learn and succeed inside and outside the classroom.

Ani has an extensive background in healthcare management operations, specifically within the cannabis, diagnostic laboratory and global clinical trials sector, leading clinical trials studies for a Fortune 500 company, while delivering the utmost quality and service to major pharmaceuticals. Ani helps build the compliance, administrative and operational infrastructure for new cannabis licenses of all types, leading company growth across multiple departments.

She has over ten years of project management experience, including full oversight of clinical trials experience as a global project manager (United States, United Kingdom, Europe, Australia/Asia) of medium to large-scale clinical trials studies.

Ani is committed to ensuring effective domestic and global vendor oversight with a keen ability to build and maintain strong business relations across a large variety of industries.

She has over five years of operational experience in the cannabis industry, including management of multiple company plants across California with knowledge of cannabis laws and regulations, good clinical practices (GCP), HIPAA, FDA, and patient privacy laws.

Ani earned her B.S. in Biology with a Minor Concentration in Spanish from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Pepperdine University.
